The concept
What does a hero who makes coffee look like? The moodboard revolved around vintage comics, diners and old advertising signs. That led to the tagline, and the tagline set the tone for everything else.

A coffee bar that refused to hide among yet another minimalist place with a thin line for a logo. Mighty Coffee wanted a brand with humour and character, one you recognise before you have even read the name.
Coffee as a superpower. I gave the brand its own hero: a retro comic character with a cape who shows up everywhere, from the cup to the loyalty card. Bold lines, halftone dots and a warm palette bring the feel of old comics to the counter.

What does a hero who makes coffee look like? The moodboard revolved around vintage comics, diners and old advertising signs. That led to the tagline, and the tagline set the tone for everything else.

A friendly face, a raised cup and a cape that is just not too serious. Thick outlines, so he still holds up on a cup that is eight centimetres tall.
Six colours, each named after something in the coffee bar, so the team behind the counter gets the system straight away. Aero carries the brand, Caramel and Guava bring the punch.

A slanted wordmark that climbs upwards, like the title on a comic cover. Wide and heavy, so it stays legible on a lid or a stamp.
Seven slides that flow seamlessly into each other. The logo runs across the first two, the food truck across the fourth and fifth, so you keep swiping until the loyalty card.
